About The Position

FOX 4 KDFW is looking for a collaborative Traffic Coordinator ready to make an immediate impact ensuring the accurate scheduling and execution of our commercial advertising. Leveraging the scale and resources of Fox Corporation and Fox Television Stations, KDFW delivers best-in-class advertising solutions across broadcast and digital platforms, designed to help our advertising partners achieve measurable results. The KDFW Traffic Department has an amazing opportunity for a Traffic Coordinator to play a critical role in the scheduling of both spot and paid programming commercial copy, working closely with advertising agencies and FOX Sales teams to help ensure every commercial airs as planned.

Requirements

• 1+ year of office, administrative, or coordination experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive, professional approach.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency with standard business software, including email, internet applications, and Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in television scheduling, broadcast traffic, copy coordination, or a related media operations role is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the gathering and organization of materials needed to schedule copy for both spot buys and paid program schedules.
• Ensure the accurate scheduling of commercial copy across all scheduled programming.
• Communicate daily with advertising agencies and FOX Sales teams to coordinate commercial scheduling and resolve issues.
• Monitor the shared email box and respond promptly to time-sensitive requests.
• Work displaced spots on logs in assigned dayparts as part of daily duties.
• Maintain exceptional accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Support other Traffic Department and station initiatives and perform additional projects as assigned.
