About The Position

Keep the Flow Moving. Keep the Details on Track! This role involves accurately documenting product and material movements, inspecting incoming chassis, providing team support and training, following safety requirements, and stepping in across functional areas as needed to keep work moving and support the team. The Traffic Coordinator will also take on additional responsibilities as needed to support department and operational success.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work overtime, Saturdays, and rotating shifts as business needs require.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Actively participate in and support the Poindexter Production System (PPS), 5S, Lean, TPM, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Accurately document product and material movements to support smooth day-to-day operations.
Check in incoming chassis, verify measurements, perform visual inspections, and accurately document findings.
Provide hands-on guidance and on-the-job training to help team members succeed.
Follow company safety requirements and help reinforce safe work practices with new and existing team members.
Step in across functional areas as needed to keep work moving and support the team.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support department and operational success.
