About The Position

Advanced Workzone Services (AWS), a proud member of the Helix Traffic Solutions network, is seeking a Traffic Control Tech./Road Construction Laborer for their team in Tulsa, OK. This role involves hands-on work to ensure the safety of work zones and the efficient flow of traffic. The position is full-time and involves physical labor, including working outdoors in various weather conditions and lifting up to 100 lbs. Requirements

Ability to show up on time
Reasonable transportation to and from work
Ability to work outside during the heat
Ability to pick up at least 100 lbs
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
Must possess a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Traffic control technician or Traffic control Supervisor training
A C.D.L. license

Responsibilities

Setting and maintaining traffic control devices
Setting forms, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts and pouring concrete for sign foundations
Erecting pipe and angle iron frameworks by bolting, welding or other means prior to installation of directional and informational signs
Hoisting signs into place and fastening them to frameworks
Performing other work associated with signing projects, including delineators, striping, striping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, and detours
Placing traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites
Maintaining devices in proper location and operating condition
Servicing and repairing equipment and devices
