About The Position

We are hiring a part-time Traffic Control Specialist for a client site in Bluffton. You will keep vehicles and pedestrians moving safely during the morning and afternoon peak traffic windows. This is a good fit for retirees, students, or anyone who wants steady weekday hours with the middle of the day free.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and on time for both daily shifts
• Able to stand outdoors in all weather for 2-hour shifts
• Clear communication and a calm, professional presence

Nice To Haves

• Current SC SLED Security Officer Registration (licensed and unlicensed applicants are both welcome)
• Traffic control, school crossing, or event parking experience
• Prior military or law enforcement service

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entrances, exits, and crossings
• Keep lanes, crosswalks, and fire lanes clear and flowing
• Spot unsafe driving or hazards and report them to site contacts and CSSI supervisors
• Stay alert and visible for your full shift
• Complete short daily activity reports in our mobile reporting system
