Requirements

Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Dartmouth, NS
Valid driver’s license required
Willingness to travel approximately 25%

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in traffic control design
Experience using Rapid Plan and Adobe software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a dynamic environment
Do you have a valid passport (or able to obtain one)?

Responsibilities

Designing and creating temporary traffic control plans using Rapid Plan and Adobe software
Submitting traffic control plans to contractors and authorities for review and approval
Reading and interpreting civil drawings, field notes, survey information, utility maps, and other reference materials
Preparing base maps and preliminary design drawings
Revising and updating plans as needed based on feedback or changing site requirements
Producing traffic control plans aligned with City/County specifications
Coordinating workloads and priorities with your supervisor
Communicating clearly and professionally with internal teams and external contacts
Maintaining confidentiality and following company policies
