Traffic Safety Services, Inc. is looking for a Traffic Control Maintainer in Cheyenne, WY Installs, inspects, maintains, and removes temporary traffic control devices to ensure safe traffic flow and TCP compliance. Pay scale $17 - $27 Depending on Experience
Requirements
- Knowledge of MUTCD and WYDOT standards
- 1–3 years of traffic control experience preferred
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred
- ATSSA TCT preferred
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in live traffic environments
- Available for nights, weekends, holidays, and adverse weather
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain traffic control devices per approved Traffic control plan.
- Inspect device placement, visibility, and condition.
- Repair or replace damaged or displaced devices.
- Maintain signs, cones, barricades, delineators, arrow boards, and message boards.
- Assist with lane closures and traffic changes.
- Respond to missing or damaged devices.
- Report hazards and deficiencies to the TC Foreman.
- Supervise and ensure safe flagger operations on site.
- Verify flagger timecards and communicate daily with the prime contractor regarding project needs.
