Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work day, night, or weekend shifts
Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to Commute: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

Prior traffic control experience preferred, but not required
Flagger Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Discusses traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points with supervisor
Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern
Directs movement of traffic through site using signs, hand, and flag signals
Warns construction workers when approaching vehicles fail to heed signals to prevent accidents and injury
Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites
Records license numbers of traffic control violators for police
Gives hand marker to last driver in lineup of one-way traffic for Flagger at opposite end of site, signaling clearance for reverse flow of traffic
