About The Position

Traffic Control Flaggers (Crew Members) are responsible for guiding traffic safely through work zones using appropriate equipment and communication. They assist Crew Leaders in setting up and maintaining work zones. This is an essential role that directly contributes to public safety and infrastructure development. Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. We are an industry leader in traffic control, providing expert services across the eastern United States. Our Traffic Control Flaggers (Crew Members) are dispatched directly from home to job sites, ensuring convenience and flexibility.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle required
Employees must be able to drive themselves to and from job sites (ride-sharing or drop-offs not permitted).
Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements Verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Review
Availability Monday–Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours, walk 1-2 miles per day, lift up to 30-50 lbs, and work outdoors in various conditions
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6″ in height.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones
Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients
Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
Gain hands-on experience in the traffic control industry
