The Traffic Control Estimator develops traffic control estimates, proposals, and project budgets while leveraging field experience and operational knowledge to support profitable project execution. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of traffic control experience including 1 year in field operations and 2 years in supervisory roles.
- ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read traffic control plans and project specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and bid proposals for traffic control projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and traffic control requirements.
- Calculate labor, equipment, and material costs.
- Coordinate with operations and field personnel.
- Track bid opportunities and maintain estimate records.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and estimating software.
- Support project handoff and startup activities.
- Communicate with customers regarding project scope and requirements.
- Analyze project profitability and cost trends.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
