Traffic Clerk
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor, you will verify shipments against customer orders and picking/delivery slips. Requirements
- 1 – 3 years of related experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Ability to verify product shipments against customer orders and picking/delivery slips
- Ability to release customer orders for picking/shipping
- Requires assistance to resolve discrepancies with customer service
- Ability to prepare shipping documents with minimal assistance (Packing slips, Bills of lading, Weight and shipping charges)
- Ability to schedule truck lines for product pick up with minimal assistance
- Ability to maintain appropriate documentation files
- Ability to complete data entry and order verification
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use business system for input, maintenance, and inquiries
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Additional duties as needed.
