The Trading Conduct Compliance Examiner will examine Dealers’ processes, procedures, and supervision for their compliance with trading-related Requirements as defined in the Universal Market Integrity Rules (UMIR) and the Investment Dealer and Partially Consolidated Rules (IDPC Rules). The examiner will also participate in the review of trading-related aspects of fixed income and OTC products. This role involves conducting field work, analyzing results, preparing reports, advising dealers, and evaluating compliance with trading-related requirements. Additionally, the role includes sharing best practices by advising dealers on issues and effective methods to improve processes, and responding to compliance-related inquiries. The examiner will also work on special projects, industry studies, and prepare/deliver presentations to the industry about compliance issues.
