About The Position

The Trading Analyst is responsible for trade settlement and reconciliation, new fixed income broker onboarding, and assistance with interval fund processing, settlement issues, and daily account balances. This role involves inspecting and verifying suspicious/erroneous orders, communicating fixed income allocations to outside bond brokers, and ensuring trades are booked correctly by both parties. The analyst will also compile compliance reports, check trade confirms for accuracy, onboard new fixed income brokers, work with custodians and outside bond brokers on settlement issues, assist with the interval fund process, and check firm account balances daily.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with an investment management firm, hedge fund, or Broker Dealer
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify any suspicious/erroneous orders.
• Communicate fixed income allocations to outside bond brokers ensuring these trades are booked correctly on our side and also at the contra broker.
• Trade Reconciliation – Review and reconcile reports to ensure trades have been executed and booked correctly.
• Compliance reports – Compile and randomly check trades for best execution prices. Review MSRB, CAT OATS and TRACE reports for trades. Check trade confirms for accuracy.
• Onboard new fixed income brokers
• Work with custodians and outside bond brokers on settlement issues
• Assist with the interval fund process
• Check firm accounts balances on a daily basis
