About The Position

As a Credit Derivatives Trading Services Associate on the Credit Derivatives Trading Services team, you will support accurate transaction capture and lifecycle processing and execute key controls to keep trading activity efficient and well-managed. You will partner with the trading desk, operations partners, and infrastructure teams to resolve exceptions, improve processes, and strengthen end-to-end workflows. The role provides exposure to credit derivatives trading structures and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience supporting credit derivatives trading, trading services, middle office, trade support, or a closely related function.
Working knowledge of credit derivatives products such as credit default swaps, indices, tranches, options, and total return swaps.
Working knowledge of hedging and related products such as interest rate swaps, corporate bonds, futures, equity securities, and equity derivatives.
Understanding of front-to-back trade processing, including confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting concepts.
Ability to coordinate issue resolution across multiple teams using clear documentation and structured follow-up.
Strong attention to detail, an ownership mindset, and commitment to a well-controlled environment.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, including the ability to identify patterns, investigate exceptions, and propose practical fixes.
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and operational controls.

Nice To Haves

Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
Experience supporting credit derivatives lifecycle events such as credit events, coupons, resets, assignments, and novations.
Experience performing reconciliations, break management, and control execution within a governed operating model.
Familiarity with process improvement methods such as root cause analysis, control enhancements, and automation opportunity assessment.
Comfort working with large datasets and translating findings into clear operational actions, such as pivots, trend analysis, and exception reporting.
Experience partnering effectively across trading, operations, risk, finance, legal, or collateral stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Capture transactions accurately and on time in designated trading and risk systems.
Perform intraday and end-of-day completeness and reconciliation checks to support accurate processing of trading activity.
Execute required controls, document evidence of completion, and complete timely sign-offs in line with established procedures.
Partner with the trading desk and support teams to triage questions, investigate breaks, and drive timely resolution.
Coordinate across operations partners and infrastructure teams to support end-to-end processing and reduce operational risk.
Contribute to strategic and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency, control design, and operating model clarity.
Build and maintain a strong understanding of credit derivatives trading structures from financial and operational perspectives.
