About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Multi-Discipline Trade Supervisor with a strong electrical background to join our Project team. Reporting to the Project Engineer, the successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, and technical support to a multi-disciplinary maintenance workforce while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, sound technical knowledge in electrical maintenance, and the ability to coordinate work across multiple trades in a dynamic industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Journeyperson Electrician Certificate required.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, including supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years Industrial supervisory experience.
  • Must pass pre-employment medical.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively train and mentor employees.
  • Exemplary record in Health, Safety, and Environment is essential.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving capabilities and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of refinery operations or Industrial background.

Nice To Haves

  • Interprovincial (Red Seal) Certification preferred.
  • Experience supervising multiple skilled trades in an industrial, environment is considered an asset.
  • Journeyman status or equivalency may be accepted.
  • Trade Certificate considered an asset.
  • Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude.
  • Computer literacy (an asset), i.e., Microsoft Office and (Computerized Maintenance Management System) such as Maximo or SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision to the Renewable Fuels project team to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of the facility.
  • Ensure employees comply with all Company policies/procedures and safety regulations.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan activities for your team, and work with contractors.
  • Preparing and entering data into various information systems (i.e., work order history, employee time details, monthly reports, discipline, etc.).
  • Review work orders, develop job plans, and ensure required materials, tools, and permits are available.
  • Monitor work quality and productivity while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Developing and promoting a positive employee relations environment within the department.
  • Reviewing employee’s performance and providing appropriate feedback and coaching.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
