Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is seeking a Trade Operations Manager, NAM to join the Global Trade and Product Compliance (GTPC) organization to support import and export operational compliance across the United States and Canada. This position will be based out of an Amazon corporate office in the US and requires the ability to travel periodically. In this role, you will build and maintain compliance monitoring frameworks while collaborating with AWS teams across Security, Datacenter Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, Finance, and other internal and external stakeholders to execute trade compliance programs and initiatives. You will support programs such as special trade preference programs (e.g., USMCA), trade classification processes, and customs broker partner management. This position reports to the NAM Regional Trade Compliance Manager within GTPC. We are looking for an organized self-starter with trade and data/automation knowledge who can apply their expertise to: Operate cross-functionally to identify process optimization and automation opportunities, Build data and reporting standards that drive trade compliance accuracy and consistency, Generate efficiencies through SOP development and customer mechanisms.
