About The Position

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking Trade Operations Coordinators / Technicians to join our dedicated team. This role involves assisting pharmacists, technician leads, supervisors, managers, and Trade programs in the daily workflow of dispensing specialty prescription medications to patients or providers, along with other pharmacy-related functions. The coordinator will ensure all assigned tasks are completed daily and will practice first call resolution to assist healthcare providers and patients with their pharmacy needs, answering questions and requests. This includes phone support, communicating with patients and physician office staff to resolve issues, and triaging calls. The role requires understanding unique attributes and business rules specific to Manufacturer programs and performing duties assigned by the Manager, Operational Implementation related to manufacturer relationships, such as verifying on-label status, offering HUB enrollment opportunities, and researching pending patients. Additionally, the position involves performing pharmacy activities in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs, maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy, and adhering to professional practice and patient confidentiality laws. The Trade Operations Coordinator contributes to team efforts and conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, policies, procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable laws, and professional standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
3+ years pharmacy experience
Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge
knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication
basic math and analytical skills
Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
Registration with Board of Pharmacy as required by state law
Independent worker
good interpersonal skills
excellent verbal and written communications skills
ability to work independently
work efficiently to meet deadlines and be flexible
detail-oriented
great time-management skills

Nice To Haves

5+ years pharmacy experience
Specialty pharmacy experience
Certified Oncology Concierge Technician (PTCB)

Responsibilities

Practices first call resolution to help health care providers and patients with their pharmacy needs; answering questions and requests.
Phone support - Communicates with patients and physician office staff to resolve issues, answer questions, triage calls to appropriate departments as needed. Inbound calls should be handled using first call resolution customer service practices.
Understand unique attributes and business rules specific to Manufacturer programs
Perform duties as assigned by Manager, Operational Implementation specific to needs of manufacturer relationship. This could include but not limited to: verifying on label status, offering HUB enrollment opportunities, researching pending patients for updates etc.
Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and compliance with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
