About The Position

Tenstorrent is seeking a Trade Operations & Certifications Specialist to manage and expedite product certification and regulatory compliance. This role is crucial for enabling customer shipments and revenue realization. The specialist will be the primary owner responsible for driving the entire certification process, coordinating efforts between Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and external regulatory agencies. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON. The company welcomes candidates at various experience levels, and the final offer will be adjusted based on the assessed level during the interview process.

Requirements

Experienced in product certification, trade compliance, or regulatory affairs.
Strong grasp of global import/export requirements and agency approval processes.
Skilled at coordinating across multiple functions, comfortable aligning Sales, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and external agencies around a shared execution plan.
Proactive problem solver who identifies roadblocks early, escalates with clarity, and drives resolution without waiting to be asked.
Detail-oriented with strong project management instincts, able to track multiple concurrent certification programs, timelines, and risk factors simultaneously.
Eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology, subject to U.S. export laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end product certification activities and regulatory approvals across all relevant markets and regional bodies.
Coordinate cross-functional actions across Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and external certification agencies to keep programs on schedule.
Identify and remove certification roadblocks that prevent customer shipments, managing escalation paths and communicating risk to leadership in a timely manner.
Ensure products meet regional import, export, and regulatory requirements to support global deployments and on-time revenue recognition.
