About The Position
This role provides support in handling various purchases, sales, and freight of commodities. Tasks typically include inputting transactions into the system, troubleshooting concerns on various transactions and shipments, working with customers, and monitoring accounts receivable. The associate may also work on special projects as needed and prepare reporting for the trading desk. A key aspect of this role is the ability to understand business operations and operate/maintain the business systems applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- Ability to handle a high level of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral & written communication skills

- Be a go getter; pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while maintaining the ability to manage day to day tasks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation, billing, contracting, and inventory control for all assigned locations
- Maintain contact with assigned customer accounts
- Data entry and management of all assigned customer orders, shipments, and customer correspondence
- Manage assigned shipments from origin to destination
- Maintain current and up to date daily settlements and various reports
- Collaborate effectively with team & stakeholders
