Hilco Vision’s portfolio includes Prescription Safety, Lens care, Eyewear Accessories, Lab & Dispensing Products, Dry Eye Solutions, Vision Testing Equipment, Pharmaceuticals, and Diagnostic Exam & Surgical Supplies.  Hilco Vision is looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for developing and executing strategic retail and trade marketing programs that drive engagement, elevate brand visibility, and support sales growth across key channels. This role serves as the critical link between Sales, Brand, Product, and external customers to ensure flawless activation and impactful execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, brand management, or sales.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including experience with syndicated data
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across internal and external audiences.
  • Proven project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for shopper behavior and retail execution.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Program Development Develop and implement comprehensive trade and retail marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives and tailored to channel/ category needs.
  • Create account/category specific marketing plans that enhance the retail/patient shopping experience and support sales, consumer engagement, and long-term customer value.
  • Translate consumer and shopper insights into actionable marketing initiatives, leveraging syndicated data and market trends.
  • Activation & Execution Plan, manage, and execute campaigns, promotions, and product launches, including point‑of‑sale (POS) materials, merchandising, and displays.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Product Development to build impactful category specific programs.
  • Develop persuasive selling stories and sales enablement materials to support sales teams in driving distribution and building customer relationships.
  • Analysis & Reporting Analyze sales performance, campaign metrics, and shopper behavior to evaluate program success.
  • Prepare data-driven business reviews and recommendations to optimize future strategies.
  • Budget Management Oversee the planning, allocation, and management of retailer‑specific trade marketing budgets.
  • Ensure all programs are delivered on time, on strategy, and within budget.
  • Brand & Execution Standards Ensure brand consistency and merchandising excellence across all customer touchpoints.
  • Maintain high standards of retail readiness and in‑store engagement across assigned accounts.
