About The Position

This role is designed for early-career professionals or transitioning veterans who demonstrate strong foundational skills, discipline, and a desire to learn. The Trade Entry Analyst will support Traders with daily trade entry and reconciliation across assigned trading books, entering, validating, and reconciling physical trades in the firm’s trading and risk system. The analyst will monitor the full lifecycle of trading activity, from trade execution through delivery, settlement, and final reconciliation. They will work with counterparties to price deals with no agreed-upon future price as product approaches delivery, and review physical EFP deals to confirm agreed-upon pricing at the time of trade, promptly submitting them to the exchange when pricing is finalized. The role also involves archiving all conversations with counterparties and the exchange for future access, coordinating with counterparties to price deals executed without a fixed price, and working closely with Compliance and Middle Office to ensure timely entry and exchange limit usage. Accurate matching of cleared EFPs to their corresponding physical deals is crucial to reflect correct exposure and risk. The analyst will maintain detailed records and archive communications to support audit and compliance requirements, perform daily pricing and exposure reconciliations, and communicate discrepancies. Special projects, including pipeline reconciliations, payment reviews, and process improvements, will also be part of the responsibilities. Collaboration with Compliance, Middle Office, and IT is essential for timely trade capture, exchange limit monitoring, and system efficiency. The role requires providing clear, concise ad-hoc explanations to senior stakeholders and adapting to proprietary risk systems, evolving trading workflows, and continuous process enhancements in a dynamic environment.
