About The Position

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Trade Manager to support clients’ trade compliance programs. In this role, you will help manage export and import compliance work, with a focus on export classification and Technology Control Plan (TCP) management. You will work with cross-functional teams in a technology-focused environment. This is an existing vacancy.

Requirements

  • Experience as a trade compliance or export/import compliance professional; a law degree is not required.
  • Experience with export classification and trade compliance processes.
  • Background in the technology industry, software, or a related technical environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  • Excellent research, documentation, technology, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a SaaS or software business.
  • Experience managing Technology Control Plans.
  • Familiarity with export controls, including the EAR or ITAR.
  • Experience working with engineers, product managers, freight forwarders, or other operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support export and import compliance activities, including export classification.
  • Maintain and help administer Technology Control Plans (TCPs).
  • Research and document trade compliance requirements and classifications.
  • Work with Shipping, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and freight-forwarding teams to support compliant business operations.
  • Help identify and address trade compliance issues and maintain related records.
  • Contribute to trade compliance procedures, guidance, and process improvements.
