About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Trade Compliance Manager for our Scottsdale-based corporate office. The Trade Compliance Manager serves as the key advisor on global trade compliance, helping business teams navigate cross-border requirements, regulatory risks, and compliance strategies. This role monitors changes in trade laws and tariffs, supports audits and investigations, strengthens policies and internal controls, partners with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into operations, and helps oversee import/export, customs, and licensing activities globally.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Global Trade, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance, ISF, HTS classification, country of origin, customs entry requirements, broker clearance processes, and duty drawback filings.
  • Experience working with Maquiladoras.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and navigate large datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Customs Compliance Specialist certification
  • Bi-lingual is a plus (preferably Spanish)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Trade Compliance SME, advising business teams on global trade requirements, cross-border transactions, and compliance strategies.
  • Analyze evolving trade laws, tariff changes, and geopolitical developments to assess business impacts and recommend strategic actions.
  • Conduct trade compliance risk assessments, audits, due diligence reviews, and internal investigations to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Build and enhance Trade Compliance policies, procedures, internal controls, and technology solutions to support scalable operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Trade Compliance into business processes, strategic initiatives, and operational decisions.
  • Review key import documentation, including CBP Form 7501, for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain working familiarity with ACE reporting, broker entry data, ISF, HTS classification, country of origin, import/export recordkeeping, and customs compliance considerations.
  • Support duty drawback filings, customs audits (CF-28), government inquiries, and regulatory requests by coordinating timely and effective responses.
  • Develop and deliver Trade Compliance training programs to strengthen organizational awareness and compliance culture.
  • Provide advice and analysis to PXG designers and business leaders to understand duties’ impact on total acquisition costs. Identify money saving opportunities. Support cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Logistics, Legal, Tax, etc.)
  • Review and remit duties.
