What You’ll Do In this role, you will support trade compliance and purchasing activities for the production department, helping ensure products move efficiently and in accordance with import/export requirements. You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to maintain accurate documentation, support customs filings, and improve day-to-day processes. Your responsibilities will include supporting compliance with international trade regulations, coordinating with shipping forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate customs documentation, and helping maintain proper product classifications under HTS codes. You will also assist with duty management activities, track shipments, maintain trade compliance records, and support issue resolution related to shipping, documentation, and compliance. In addition, this position will play a valuable role in purchasing operations by entering and managing purchase orders in ERP systems and supporting other supply chain activities as needed. This is a highly collaborative position that requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone who brings a combination of analytical thinking, operational discipline, and a willingness to learn. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with trade compliance, customs processes, HTS classification, or import/export documentation is preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle ERP is helpful, and experience with GEP is a plus. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access, are also beneficial. Why Join Xylem in Texarkana?
