This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional who enjoys working across supply chain, logistics, purchasing, and international trade to help keep operations running smoothly and compliantly. In this role, you will support trade compliance and purchasing activities for the production department, helping ensure products move efficiently and in accordance with import/export requirements. You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to maintain accurate documentation, support customs filings, and improve day-to-day processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with trade compliance, customs processes, HTS classification, or import/export documentation is preferred
  • Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle ERP is helpful, and experience with GEP is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supporting compliance with international trade regulations
  • Coordinating with shipping forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate customs documentation
  • Helping maintain proper product classifications under HTS codes
  • Assisting with duty management activities
  • Tracking shipments
  • Maintaining trade compliance records
  • Supporting issue resolution related to shipping, documentation, and compliance
  • Entering and managing purchase orders in ERP systems
  • Supporting other supply chain activities as needed
