In this role, you will support trade compliance and purchasing activities for the production department, helping ensure products move efficiently and in accordance with import/export requirements. You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to maintain accurate documentation, support customs filings, and improve day-to-day processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with trade compliance, customs processes, HTS classification, or import/export documentation is preferred
• Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle ERP is helpful, and experience with GEP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supporting compliance with international trade regulations
• Coordinating with shipping forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate customs documentation
• Helping maintain proper product classifications under HTS codes
• Assisting with duty management activities
• Tracking shipments
• Maintaining trade compliance records
• Supporting issue resolution related to shipping, documentation, and compliance
• Entering and managing purchase orders in ERP systems
• Supporting other supply chain activities as needed
