About The Position

Bell’s Global Trade Compliance department is looking for an innovative, analytical teammate with a global mindset to join our team as a Trade Compliance Associate Analyst. This position plays a critical role in ensuring Bell complies with global export and import control laws. To determine compliance requirements, you’ll need to read and understand complex legal regulations and apply those regulations to all kinds of business transactions. Details matter and can make all the difference between a transaction that requires government approval, what kind of approval that may be, or a transaction that doesn’t require any special handling. If you enjoy gathering clues and using logic to solve puzzles, that’s really what this job entails. You’ll also need to be able to explain how you arrived at your conclusion for recordkeeping and auditing purposes – so written communication skills are important too. In the process of gathering facts to determine what’s required, you will work with virtually every function within Bell – engineering, supply chain management, program management, sales, business development, government and commercial contracts, information technology, customer support, security, communications, and legal. And you will work with people at all Bell sites globally.
