About The Position

ODL is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to support the development and execution of our global trade compliance program. This role will be responsible for ensuring import and export activities comply with U.S. customs regulations and international trade requirements, with a focus on classification, valuation, country of origin, and duty optimization. The ideal candidate brings a strong working knowledge of U.S. customs law, HTS classification, and import entry processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or import/export operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR), HTS classification, USMCA rules of origin, and Section 232/301 tariff frameworks
  • Familiarity with CBP's ACE portal and entry filing processes
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AD/CVD proceedings, duty drawback, or free trade agreement qualification preferred
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) designation preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with trade management software (SAP GTS, Oracle GTM, or similar) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin determinations for imported and exported goods across multiple product categories
  • Support USMCA and other free trade agreement qualification, documentation, and certificate of origin management
  • Monitor and interpret changes in trade regulations — including Section 232, Section 301, AD/CVD orders, and CBP guidance — and assess impact on the business
  • Coordinate with customs brokers on entry filing accuracy, duty payment, and compliance with CBP requirements
  • Support IEEPA refund filings, AD/CVD proceedings, and other duty recovery or mitigation initiatives
  • Maintain and audit import/export records in compliance with CBP recordkeeping requirements
  • Conduct supplier outreach to collect CAATSA, UFLPA, and country of origin certifications in support of supply chain compliance
  • Partner with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure trade compliance is embedded in sourcing and supplier management decisions
  • Support the development and delivery of internal trade compliance training and awareness programs
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of trade compliance policies and procedures
