Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Foundational certification or training in ITAR/EAR Compliance or Customs Brokering.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience processing military customs documentation or border clearance packages.
  • Familiarity with automated export declaration systems.
  • Technical experience handling compliance metrics in OCONUS theater environments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares regulatory compliance assessments, Export Verification Reports, and trade documentation under senior guidance.
  • Develop localized standard operating procedures to maintain alignment with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and cross-border operational regulations.
  • Maintain tracking matrices for export licenses and Host Nation customs permits to support compliance audits.
  • Executes day-to-day international trade screening, customs clearance processing, and cargo clearance workflows in the USPACOM AOR.
  • Compile technical data packages, draft theater-specific compliance checklists, and coordinate with husbanding agents or Customs Authorities to facilitate rapid material throughput at logistics nodes.
  • Monitor regulatory tracking logs and support the identification of compliance risks across distributed, infrastructure-limited areas.
  • Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
