About The Position

This role involves understanding control lists, evaluating internal operations for regulatory compliance, preparing documentation for regulatory submissions and audits, and serving as a point of contact for export control processes. The company is a global, integrated provider of highly engineered, technologically advanced products and services, with a history dating back to the founders of naval aviation and the first flight.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, or supply chain
  • Familiarity with U.S. and international trade regulations preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software required.

Responsibilities

  • Understand control lists and be able to categorize products from different perspectives.
  • Assist with the evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to regulatory compliance and recommend appropriate changes.
  • Coordinate the preparation of and may prepare document packages for regulatory submissions from all areas of company as well as for internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Serve as point of contact for interactions with businesses and function on specific export control processes such as shipping requests, technology exports or restricted party screening.
