About The Position

The Trade & Capital Markets Accounting and Reporting Analyst assists with establishing and maintaining accounting policies and fiscal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets. Under close supervision, the job prepares standard financial report, statement and analysis to provide insights for business decision making. The job also assists with continuous improvement in management reporting, report standardization and rationalization.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, creates standard accounting report packages, and supports new setup and changes in existing financial applications to maintain accurate and efficient financial recording.
• Performs standard accounting services to maintain accurate and efficient financial recording and reporting, including applying accounting techniques and practices to classify and record financial transactions, accounting for administrative expenses, verifying the accuracy of detailed financial business transactions, month end general ledger close, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit and loss analysis.
• Delivers standard financial and management reports to support business decision making.
• Partners to implement internal controls to ensure financial processes are performed timely, accurately and in compliance with regulatory policies.
• Implements continuous process improvement, including simplifying and optimizing process, improving data integrity and applying current technology.
