Trade Assistant
About The Position
In this role, you will assist in preventative maintenance and repairs on off-highway machinery. You will have a dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance. Responsibilities include handling materials, loading/unloading, and moving supplies to and from work areas. You will operate basic power tools and machinery, and clean and prepare work areas, adhering to site guidelines. You will help identify equipment faults during servicing and rectify/report to workshop/management. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to accomplish assigned tasks is essential.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in a mining or workshop environment
- Current Forklift, Crane, Dogging and Rigging tickets
- Current Australian Drivers licence required
- You will also need to possess a high regard for and practice health and safety at all times
