About The Position

The Tractor/Trailer Wash Crew is responsible for using pressurized washing and cleaning equipment to clean truck tractors, bobtail trucks, converter dollies, and trailers. This role involves working in wet environments and requires the movement of trucks and tractors to and from the wash area, strictly within Shamrock property. The crew also assists the Transportation and Warehouse departments as assigned and is responsible for maintaining and repairing trailer center divide panels and end caps.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License/Clean driving record
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Use of pressurized washing and cleaning equipment.
• Movement of trucks and tractors to and from the wash area as instructed (never to leave Shamrock property).
• Washing of other Shamrock property as instructed by the Wash Crew Supervisor.
• Assists the Transportation and Warehouse departments as assigned.
• Maintain and repair trailer center divide panels and end caps
• Other duties as assigned.
