About The Position
We Perform PM & Maintenance on a US Fortune 50 Transportation Equipment - Year-Round Service in Professional Environment. Opening for (2) Fleet Mechanic $42-$48 DOE (NOT Flat Rate) + Health, Vision and Dental, Holiday/Vacation and NO Customer Interactions. Flexible Hours: Mornings, Afternoon or Evening Shift Excellent Shop Environment - NO Roadside Service.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 4+ years working on OTR Tractor/Trailers
- Excellent mechanical repair skills.
- Ability to follow repair guidelines
- High school diploma or GED with one to three years of related technical experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certification(s)
Responsibilities
- Repairs and services Semi-Trucks and Trailers
- Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs.
- Maintains a clean and safe repair shop.
- Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintains repair log for vehicles and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
