Requirements

CDL Class A Certification.
Current Medical Card.
Clean driving record and background.
Pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Willingness to learn how to safely hook up and operate a variety of hydraulic trailers, including side dump, end dump and live floor trailers.
Flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Safely hook up and operate a variety of hydraulic trailers, including side dump, end dump and live floor trailers.
Manually roll and secure a trailer tarp using crank/handle to extend and retract the tarp across the top of the trailer.
Operate different types of trailers on a daily basis based on operational needs.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies when operating and performing trailer-related tasks.
Operate trucks in residential, commercial, DTG recycling yards and on construction sites as well as public roadways including highways and interstates.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
Communicate with dispatcher throughout the day.
Log and track loads in our system with provided tablets.
Keep accurate records and slips of loads each day.
Keep the equipment and tractor in safe working order.
Put chains on tires as needed/required.
Work outside under all types of weather conditions.
Work overtime, including some Saturdays.
