About The Position

Morrico Equipment is looking for a safe, reliable, and experienced Tractor Driver to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of products and equipment to various locations while ensuring proper load handling, vehicle inspections, and trip documentation. If you are an experienced commercial driver who takes pride in safety, reliability, and delivering excellent service—we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Guam Class C Driver’s License required
  • Safe driving record and strong commitment to transportation safety
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle and trailer inspection procedures
  • Ability to safely secure, load, and unload freight
  • Strong awareness of road conditions and safe driving practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Ability to complete required documentation accurately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience driving tractor-trailer trucks preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport and deliver products and equipment to various customer and company locations
  • Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure deliveries are completed on schedule
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure they are in safe operating condition
  • Inspect and document the condition of loads before departure
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight as required
  • Secure freight properly before departure and monitor the load throughout the trip
  • Obtain customer signatures and required delivery documentation upon completion of deliveries
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and related documentation
  • Report delays, accidents, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns, or other delivery issues to management promptly
  • Perform basic truck and trailer maintenance and report major mechanical issues for repair
  • Follow all applicable federal, state, and local transportation, trucking, and safety regulations
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safe operating condition of assigned vehicles
  • Attend department meetings and safety training as required
  • Maintain reliable attendance and report to work on time as scheduled
  • Perform other duties as assigned
