The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position of Tractor Driver, Wachusett to perform the following duties: Please submit a cover letter and resume as part of your application. Incumbents of positions in this series operate equipment such as tractors, backhoes, front-end loaders and bulldozers used in the construction, maintenance and repair of roadways, grounds etc; operate heavy dump trucks, snow plows, sanders, tractor-drawn mowers and other equipment for roadways and grounds maintenance; operate light vehicles such as passenger cars and panel trucks for transporting personnel and materials; perform routine maintenance on equipment; maintain record and prepare reports and perform related work as required. The basic purpose of this work is to operate tractors used in maintaining roadsides, grounds and other projects.
