About The Position

Queensland Rail is seeking a Trackworker (Labourer) to join their Warwick team on a full-time basis. This role involves carrying out heavy manual tasks such as sleeper replacement and general rail maintenance. The position requires working outdoors in varied and sometimes extreme conditions, with frequent travel away from home while on shift. Requirements

• Recent experience in a manual handling or physical labouring type role
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Capacity to travel and work within Regional Queensland
• Flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track
• Perform outdoor labouring duties throughout the region (including flood repair and other emergency work)
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Carry out heavy manual tasks including sleeper replacement and general rail maintenance

Benefits

• Full-time base annual salary of $69,000+ 12.75% super
• Potential earnings of up to $90,000 including penalties
