About The Position

Pape’ Material Handling, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a skilled and driven Trackmobile Field Technician to join their team. This role involves working on Trackmobile, Zephir, and competing brand’s equipment in the field, ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely to support customers and maximize their uptime. The technician will inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures, executing necessary repairs or component replacements. This may include rebuilding or replacing complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and/or steering mechanisms. Welding and fabrication work may also be required. The role involves operating a fully equipped service vehicle, delivering expert service, performing high-quality repairs and maintenance, and building trusted relationships with customers.

Requirements

5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
Basic computer knowledge.
Self-motivation.
Some overnight travel will be required.
Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

Work on Trackmobile, Zephir and competing brand’s equipment in the field ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures.
Execute necessary repairs or component replacements.
Rebuild or replace complex systems such as transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic components, engines, electrical systems, and/or steering mechanisms.
Perform welding and fabrication work as part of certain repairs.
Operate a fully equipped service vehicle.
Deliver expert service and perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Build trusted relationships with customers.
