Track & Field Lower-Level Distance Coach
About The Position
Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for a Track & Field Lower-Level Distance Coach. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated record of providing sound leadership in a track & field program(s) including conducting competitive practices daily, modeling leadership behavior commiserate with the Catholic Church, has a track record of creating healthy relationships with student-athletes in the program, and clearly communicates expectations with student-athletes, parents, and Varsity Head Coach. This position will be responsible for managing the program in alignment with and dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love.
Requirements
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- NFHS Concussion in Sports
- NFHS Heat Illness Prevention
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous direct coaching experience
Responsibilities

Benefits
- Stipend: $3,000-5,000 based on experience
