About The Position

R. J. Corman Railroad Company is seeking a Track Crew Member to join our team in Dayton, TX. Responsibilities: Inspects, installs, and maintains railroad track in an industrial yard setting. Completes required job duties safely and efficiently. Completes all required documentation. Promotes a safe work environment. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Complete required job duties safely and efficiently.
• Railroad construction experience preferred.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Ability to communicate well with co-workers, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to operate power tools.
• Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions.
• The requirements of this position involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions.
• Applicant must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull with confined spaces.
