Track and Field Graduate Assistant Coach
About The Position
Grand Canyon University is hiring a Graduate Assistant Coach - Track and Field. The ideal candidate should have excellent relationship management skills and the ability to multitask with attention to detail. This role assists the Head Coach with all aspects of coaching a Division I intercollegiate program, including recruitment of talented student-athletes, coaching in-season practices and contests, and general promotion and development of the sports program. The position requires compliance with NCAA rules, University policies, and department guidelines, as well as assisting with team community service projects, special events, and camps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be enrolled in GCU master’s program.
- Must be able to maintain an academic GPA of 3.0
- Must be willing to work when necessary beyond normal business hours which will require travel with the teams as needed.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
