About The Position

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide direct, one-on-one medical care in the Tampa, FL area. Since 2000, Angels of Care has been dedicated to caring for the medically fragile community, guided by values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed. This role involves focusing on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents in their homes, conducting ongoing assessments, administering medications and therapies, coordinating care, educating family members, and implementing preventative initiatives to ensure quality care.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license
• Trach & Vent experience
• Provide care in a client home setting
• Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!

Responsibilities

• Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
• Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
• Coordination of care
• Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
• Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
