About The Position

The TPM Administrator is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and control of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) data within XTEL TPM. This role serves as a key control point ensuring trade events are set up correctly, deadlines are met, system access is governed appropriately, and audit requirements are upheld. The position partners closely with Trade Finance, Customer Planning, RGM, Sales, and the Deductions team to ensure high‑quality TPM execution and compliance. This is a control‑oriented role, focused on system accuracy, governance, and process adherence rather than promotional strategy or analytics.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Trade Promotion Management, Trade Finance, or related roles.
  • CPG industry experience is required.
  • Hands‑on experience with TPM systems; XTEL TPM experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of trade promotion processes, accruals, and controls.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience supporting audits, SOX controls, or internal control frameworks related to trade spend.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, RGM, and Deductions teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate TPM events in XTEL to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Enforce deadlines for promotion and event entry to support timely accruals, close processes, and reporting.
  • Perform ongoing control checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, or process gaps within TPM.
  • Support SOX, audit, and internal control requirements related to trade spend and TPM data integrity.
  • Manage TPM system access, roles, and permissions in alignment with internal control standards.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for TPM process adherence and system usage.
  • Partner with Customer Planning & Sales to ensure promotions are entered correctly and on time.
  • Partner with Trade Finance on accrual accuracy, trade spend integrity, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with RGM on trade structure and event alignment.
  • Partner with Deductions Team to support issue resolution tied to TPM execution.
  • Act as a point of escalation for TPM data or process issues.
  • Provide TPM system training and guidance to users to reinforce best practices and standard processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to TPM processes, controls, and system usage.
