About The Position

Checkered Flag Motor Car Company is looking for a Detailer to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. This role involves cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles to maintain a high standard of presentation. The company has been serving drivers in the Virginia Beach area since 1964 and has expanded to over 10 dealerships, representing brands such as Honda, BMW, MINI, Toyota, Porsche, Audi, Hyundai, Genesis, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Volkswagen.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time
• Must have a valid driver's license with 4 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years
• Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates.

Responsibilities

• Clean and refurbish new and used vehicles
• Wash and wax the vehicle
• Meticulously clean interior and exterior windows
• Thoroughly vacuum the interior of vehicles
• Clean engine and engine compartment using provided tools
• Utilize professional cleaning equipment to extend the longevity of the clean
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
