About The Position

The Town of Hopkinton, Parks and Recreation Department, is seeking a Seasonal Summer Town Beach Supervisor for Sandy Beach. Activities will feature a variety of outdoor and indoor summertime activities for kids. The Town Beach Supervisor is a seasonal summer position. The individual in this position is responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational tasks, including, but not limited to serving as a lifeguard, supervising lifeguards and parking lot attendants, scheduling staff, reporting hours, managing the pass registration tablet, oversight of physical appearance of park and buildings, and ensuring compliance with beach policies and procedures.

Requirements

• One (1) to three (3) years of lifeguard and/or pool supervision experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• American Red Cross Certification in Lifeguard Training
• Ability to obtain American Red Cross waterfront module by the first day of employment
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Candidates age 21 or older are preferred
• Water Safety Instruction certification is preferred
