About The Position

One Way Wireless Construction (OWWC), based in Shakopee, Minnesota, is hiring experienced top hands and people interested in starting a career in telecommunications. The company also has satellite locations in Kansas, Colorado, and Wisconsin. The role involves installing, repairing, and upgrading wireless equipment on towers ranging from 50 to 700 feet. Work is performed outdoors, requires regular travel throughout the Midwest, and may involve being away from home during the week. Employees work Monday through Friday and must be able to report to the Shakopee office.

Requirements

• Reliable and respectful, with a serious approach to safety.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Comfortable working at heights and physically capable of the work.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home during the week.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Able to report to the Shakopee, Minnesota office.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers ranging from 50 to 700 feet to install, repair, or upgrade wireless equipment.
• Rig ropes, mount antennas and radios, and run fiber and RF jumpers.
• Follow site-specific build plans and carrier standards.
• Document work with photos and help keep job sites clean and safe.
• Communicate clearly with the crew and support newer team members when needed.
