About The Position

The Tower Operator is responsible for order setup, coating, curing, and rewinding of all scheduled orders on a tower. This role involves operating and maintaining the tower, performing quality control checks, calculating transmission speeds, and setting up coating applications. The operator will also transport materials, obtain necessary supplies, record information, and maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in a similar role preferred
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality work
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient basic math skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to identify colors
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a tower
Responsible for tower set-up based on schedules outlined in Authorization to Produce documentation
Perform quality control checks
Calculate transmission speeds
Set-up coating application
Transport material from different departments
Obtain coating, dies, and coating tanks
Record information
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned
