Requirements

Safety is a part of your day-to-day.
A track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
A knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoying a hands-on approach to your work.
Looking for long-term projects.
Enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team.
A high school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
Demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
A working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
Possession of job-related certifications, like First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment.
Organizational, computer, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
A valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company's policy conditions.
Ability to maintain FDOT log books (Training will be provided).
Ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures.
Ability to recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
Must be able to provide, record, and manage paperwork (Excel, Word, etc.).
Must be fit and in good physical condition.
Must have the ability to climb towers, be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours.

Nice To Haves

Owning a NWSA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Leading the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals determined by leadership.
Understanding and implementing MasTec Communications Group (MNS) Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies (Safety Manual).
Understanding and implementing Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI).
Ensuring safety requirements at your sites and with your crew.
Overseeing the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites.
Maintaining daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.
Implementing and following through with job instructions provided by leadership.
Compiling all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort.
Uploading closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
Coordinating with the customer representative for site-related activities and maintaining a good working relationship with the customer representative.
Providing leadership, guidance, and actively training/promoting learning to all crew members.
Maintaining equipment and vehicles in an operational condition.
Validating daily timesheets for Management.
Serving as a mentor to new, less experienced technicians.
Other duties as assigned.
