Requirements

  • 3+ years of tower construction or utility construction experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Strong understanding of tower safety, rigging techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to relocate to Rapid City, SD prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct daily activities of tower construction crews, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility structures, towers, and related equipment.
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including job reports, safety logs, and material usage.
  • Train and mentor crew members, fostering skill development and career growth.
  • Troubleshoot on-site challenges and provide effective solutions to keep projects on track.
