About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Tower Climbers for projects located in or around the greater Houston, TX area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate starts at $18/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Must be able to climb and work at heights up to 350 feet
- Must maintain 100% tie-off at all times
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check and 10-panel drug test
- Must complete NFPA Electrical Safety and SE-SAFER courses
- Must be safety-conscious and able to work in an outdoor environment
- Must have PPE including light weight light colored long pants, long sleeve, lace up steel toe boots & extra clothes
Nice To Haves
- No industrial painting experience required; client provides on-the-job training
- TWIC Card is highly desirable but not required
Responsibilities
- Prep and paint transmission towers located primarily in the Greater Houston area
- Climb and work at heights up to 350 feet
- Maintain 100% tie-off while working at elevation
- Follow all safety procedures and project requirements
