About The Position

DeVivo Companies is searching for a Sales Representative for our New England TruckMaster department. This position will target the tow truck market in Northern New England and Massachusetts. DeVivo Companies delivers comprehensive transportation, fleet, and equipment solutions, serving the Northeast for over a century. Our capabilities span fleet maintenance and repair, school and commercial bus sales and service, truck and trailer equipment—including towing, refrigerated transport, yard trucks, and specialty vehicle builds—as well as a full Parts & Tools operation supporting daily maintenance needs. Requirements

  • 5-years outside sales experience in a quota environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Competitive mindset.
  • Knowledge of the commercial truck industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
  • Professional appearance and positive demeanor.
  • Driver's license and personal transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Sell tow truck equipment to state, city and municipality customers/prospects.
  • Cross-sell other DeVivo products and services such as parts, vehicle service and collision repair services.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Build and enhance relationships with existing clientele.
  • Generate leads and close new business.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Attend trade shows, association meetings, sales meetings and entertain customers.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
